Banshu-ori Textured Cotton Linen Fabric - Sax Blue

This shirred fabric is woven in the Banshu region of Japan, an area renowned for its rich textile heritage. A small amount of stretchable polyurethane yarn is woven into the fabric, creating its distinctive checkered crinkled texture. In addition to cotton and linen, the fabric contains modal, an eco-friendly fiber made from wood pulp. Modal gives the fabric a silky sheen and exceptionally smooth hand feel. Lightweight and textured, this fabric offers excellent breathability and quick-drying properties, making it an ideal choice for warm-weather garments.
